Decentralized Application (dApp)

A program written on a distributed computing system like blockchain, sometimes called a smart contract. Application user experience has identical functionality potential as any other application. Unlike a traditional computer program, contracts and transactions are recorded as permanent and tamper-proof blockchain ledger entries.
